Demonstrator Programme (Members Only – Ages 11+)

Our Demonstrator Programme is an exclusive opportunity for members aged 11 and over who would like to take their first step on the Young Leader pathway. Designed for recreational, advanced tumblers, and squad gymnasts, this programme helps participants begin developing leadership and coaching skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Demonstrators do not replace coaches or Young Leaders. Instead, they work alongside our coaching team and Young Leaders to demonstrate skills and support our younger gymnasts during sessions. Demonstrators are only responsible for demonstrating skills under the supervision of a qualified coach and, on occasion, may support or supervise one gymnast at a time under the direct supervision of a coach.

This programme is ideal for those who are interested in coaching or for gymnasts who want to further develop their own skills and confidence.

The programme is voluntary and unpaid, with demonstrators committing one to two hours per week alongside a coach on a regular basis. Additional training is provided to help build confidence and key skills, and each demonstrator will receive an exclusive Demonstrator T-shirt as part of the programme.

To apply, gymnasts must submit a short paragraph explaining why they would like to be part of the programme. Please note that places are limited and not all applicants will be offered a position. Demonstrators must remain fully engaged in their own regular classes and training sessions to maintain their role.

We also expect our demonstrators to act as positive role models both inside and outside of their classes, inspiring others and representing the wider Gymnastics Reborn community.
